First steps with Navigo

Project Manager

As a project manager, you will primarily use Navigo for project planning and management. You’ve probably already had your first training session and have an idea how to do it. Nevertheless, what follows is a basic procedure that will make it easier for you to create projects.

Step
1

You have received an email from the Navigo administrator with a link to your personal Navigo access. After logging in, the system will prompt you to create a password. Next, you will be logging into the system using the address you received from us, it will be in the form of name.navigo3.com!

Please note – you will no longer login to Navigo via the www.navigo3.com website, which was the first point of entry to get the trial version, but by entering the address you received from us into your browser.

Step
2

Settings from the administrator

You should already have a basic setup in Navigo before you actually set up your project. This setting is usually done by the administrator. If you don’t have this setting, you won’t be able to set up a project or it won’t work in a meaningful way. If you are in doubt about the basic settings, please contact your administrator.

Step
3

Enter your contacts

In order to create a project, you need to enter the contacts of your client, potential customer and subcontractor. Without it, it will be impossible to establish the project. It is possible that your administrator has arranged for the transfer of your already existing contacts to Navigo in bulk, and therefore the customer will be offered to you in the contacts even if you did not enter it. If not, or if it is a new client, the data must be filled in.

Step
4

Start a project

Now you can set up a project. Just go back to the main Navigo page and click on + under the projects tab. Fill in the name of the project. After that, the lines you need to fill in to save the project will be marked in red. You have a new project, which it’s empty for now. If you are unable to create a project, you probably do not have permission to do so and you need to contact the Navigo administrator.

Step
5

Start planning

Now you can start creating your project plan and fully use Navigo. Read more about project planning and management here.
